I've tried to set new year resolutions in the pass years. Well, not all were accomplished. Well, this year, my resolution is just to go with the flow. I just want things to move along with me smoothly. I'm not going to set any high expectations for anything. I'm just gonna stay low but I'm gonna try to reach somewhere high as well.

So, in a few hours time, the world will be welcoming the new year, 2012. Gosh, that's fast! Maybe it's true that as you grew older, time will move as fast as the speed of light. Okay, that's fake! But you get my point. Okay, for this blog entry, I think I'm gonna talk about everything about the year end happenings!

22nd December 2011: Ellinika - Built To Last (PACEsetters Year End Gathering 2011)
My PACE family had our annual year end gathering to celebrate our achievements and the things we have done throughout the year. It's a time to reflect and have a good chill time with the fellow members. So, this year's theme was Ellinika - Built To Last. Basically it's all about Greece! This year, it's the juniors' turn to organise the event. Awesome food, nice outfits, fun games, great bonding. That's all I can say. :)

23rd December 2011: Fusion Percussion BBQ!
So this awesome people had their BBQ for the first time! It's my FP family! It's towards the end of the year so why not some relaxation to kick off after all that training?! So okay, I just realised that we didnt take any group shots at all! Worse, there are no photos of me at all! HAHA! *foreveralone*

25th December 2011: Christmas @ Chris' place!

Every year, a kecoh friend of mine from ITE will always invite my friends and I to his place for Christmas. As always, KECOH!! =D

So okay... It's about 5 and the half hours left before the stroke of midnight. To end my last post for 2011, I would like to wish everyone the very best in the coming new year ahead! Hope that everyone had a great 2011 and may 2012 brings more happy memories to come!

So last week was term test week for me. Been mugging for the past two weeks non-stop. Since, it's my last semester in TP, decided to give it all for my last term test. Been getting loads of help from lecturers and fellow classmates on some of the module I'm having difficulties with. There are slight improvements but there's still along way to go though. I know I can do this!

I've took three papers last week. Briefly, the first one was a pain in the ___. The second paper was managable. Well, same goes for the third one too. But I'm still having doubts with the results. There wasn't enough time for me to check my answers. Hopefully they are all correct though.

So okay, it's over! The holidays has just begun! Two weeks that is! But I bet it's not gonna be a good break at all. Loads of projects and assignments to be done. So, let's break a leg!

And oh! Just came back from Starbucks' christmas cheer party at Jalan Jamal. Tijah invited some of my friends and I over. It was a good gathering and catch-up! Thanks Tijah for the invite!

Aladdin: A Magical Musical Adventure!

If you have watched Aladdin on Disney Channel or from any other channels and you think it's awesome, then you have not catch Aladdin, Singapore style! It's a musical by W!ld Rice and was held at the Drama Centre Theatre, National Library Building.

Well, by the time I typed this entry, today is already the last day of the musical which plays from 24th November to 17th December 2011. I went on the 8th. So what do I think of the musical? Well...

IT WAS __________ AWESOME!

So the stars of the show were Hady Mirza (Aladdin) and Sylvia Ratonel (Jasmine). They really did a great job despite the fact that they are doing something out of their field. The other casts were great too! Very entertaining indeed.

I love every minute of the show. Love the Singapore rendition with a mixture of Singlish and whats not.

So yeah, I got nothing much to say! It was simply a great musical. Make your way here for more photos!

Another Photoshoot!

So apparently, I had another photoshoot shortly after the FP photoshoot... Hidup macam celebrity sekejap... Haha! =D

So the plan was to have the photoshoot on the KTM tracks somewhere in Chua Chu Kang. But guess what?

THE TRACK WAS ALREADY REMOVED.

What a bummer. I think the authorities should preserved the tracks for history purposes or something... For future generation sake! And for this case, photoshoots! Wedding photoshoots whatsoever...

So, the camera genius is an ol' ITE friend of mine, Afiq. He's a photographer with a DSLR. *free publicity sekejap...* Hehe...

FP stands for Fusion Photoshoot.

So my percussion CCA has its first unofficial but looks so official photoshoot on 27th September. It's for our blog and also other purposes. Well, I got nothing much to say but...

IT WAS AWESOME!

Every single one of us look great in the photos. So apparently, each section of the band must wear a specific colour code. It's great that everyone follows the colour code of their own section!

iPhone 4s & the lost of its founder

So apparently, there has been alot of hoohaas about Apple gonna release the brand new iPhone 5. Well...

NOT!

iPhone 4s is the actual successor of the iPhone 4. Typical, isn't it? First it was iPhone 3G followed by the iPhone 3Gs. Then iPhone 4 came. And now, iPhone 4s. So I bet next year is gonna be iPhone 5? Then followed by iPhone 5s?

HAHA, okay. So here's the video of the new iPhone 4s:

The amazing new features of this phone is basically its new and improved camera, which is a whooping 8MP. And, which I think is cool, the new voice recognition assistant, Siri.

So, like many others, I was kinda disappointed though. Was expecting a whole new design for its hardware. But it turned out to be the same look as the iPhone 4. The only thing that has changed is the inside.

So the main question is... Should I get the iPhone 4s? Well, we'll see... As for now, I'm anxiously waiting for iOS 5 and iCloud to be released. Cos that's the next cool things for the iPhone.

So a few days after the release of the new iPhone, Apple lost its most valuable person...

It's Fusion Percussion raya outing! I had the best time with the FP people especially with the juniors. Had scumptious meals at every house and of course, great quality time spent with everyone. Well, words can't describe every moment. So let just make the pictures talking... ;)

Eid Mubarak 2011 - with ITE buddies!

So it was 19th September 2011 bersamaan 20 Syawal 1432.

It's raya with the ITE bros! This people need no introduction. It's great that we're still close after 2 years in poly. So it was a fun day out and of course, yummilicous food that makes me too full to breathe properly. Haha!

So apparently everyone was either lazy or shy to take the bus because we were in our baju kurung and raya is gonna end soon. So, we took cab all the way! Rich people, I know... Haha!

Syawal. A month of forgiveness. A month of blessings.

This year's raya was a simple one for me. It was joyous too. Got to meet and spend precious moments with the family and friends. Not to mention the good fatty food and the must-have raya delicacies such as kek lapis, kueh tart, kueh makmur and dozens more! And the great part of course, the green packets!

So, let me just put the photos to do the talking for me... These are all from the first two weeks of raya... ;)

Half way there!

First of all...

HAPPY BELATED 46TH BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!

Okay, that's so last week.

So anyways, we are now half way through Ramadhan. Alhamdullilah...

How time really flies. Raya is just 2 weeks away and I'm sure everyone has started with preparations for our Big day! So this year is gonna be my first year celebrating Raya at my new home. Everything is gonna be new, but slightly smaller. Hehe.

I will blog often about my Raya preparations soon! So expect photos, especially of my new home! ;)

So what's special this Ramadhan for me? Well, just like previous Ramadhans, a simple one. :) One thing for sure is that this holy month is full of great things happening. One of it is that my major project can finally work despite the fact that we took almost 2 months to discover that the main problem is due to a very simple mistake.

But still, many more things to do though! Let me just pray that everything will come out beautifully. Amin... :)

As for now, have a blissful Ramadhan people!

HP Fever!

So the story of a boy who lives has finally comes to an end. I've been following the movie for a decade now ever since I was still in primary school. It was fun watching the movie and characters grown along the years.

I still remember watching the first movie with my cousins when we were all still young and watched the last movie when we are now reaching our "adulthood". No doubt the movie is a world phenomenon, hehe...

So Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow Part 2 is an awesome movie, a good movie to end a fantastic chapter of Harry Potter. I've watched it twice. The third round might happened soon! =D It is indeed a heart-wrenching sequel but with a victorious ending.

It's hard to review the movie here because it's too awesome. Those who have not watch it yet, I suggest you do it now! Haha!

So what's next after this? Well, things are gonna change for sure. Till then,

I solemnly swear i am up to no good.

Hey!

Just to let you know, I've already entered my third year in Temasek Poly. Yes, third freaking year. I'm a senior now! Hehe... Well, it seems time has been passing so fast for me. Sometimes I told myself these: "I should have entered first year instead and not taking the shortcut to second year straight. Cos I want to spend more time in this school."

Well, I have made a decision last time. Now, it's just a matter of moving on...

So anyways, I'm a senior now. I have juniors that I have yet to remember their names and know them more. Yeah, I'm talking about my two beloved CCAs. Fusion Percussion and PACEsetters!

We're getting bigger now. Which means more responsibility for me as a senior to guide them throughout their journey in their respective CCAs. Well, I'm happy to see these new faces. I'm looking forward to work with all of them for the next few months before I leave TP next year.

Fusion meets Sentosa

Okay. The outing was actually last month. But finally I got to rant about it now! Yeah!!

My Fusion mates and I had our so-called farewell outing with the seniors. So we decided to secretly planned out a whole day outing without the knowledge of the seniors! Hehe! So we went for a recce a few weeks before the outing day itself.

(And oh, I might be going for an USS outing this 19th April! =D)

So the people in-charge of the games headed down to Sentosa to recce the place and plan for the games...

Yes, I finally got to see that Universal globe myself and took a picture with it! \(-_-)/

So anyways, the day before the outing, we all met up to prepare the stuffs, gifts and cards...

It was a hot and sunny day! Good weather, Alhamdullilah... So basically the day was filled with fun games and chillaxing! There was also awards given such as Bimbo of the year etc! We were also singing along with the guitar and enjoying the serenity of the evening sunset. Chey, feeling2 for awhile... Haha! XD

Nur Kasih The Movie

I'm a fan of a good drama. Yes, there are many drama series out there. Some are funny, some teaches us the lessons in life while some are just plain meaningless. Well, usually I go for a drama that teaches the meaning of life. About how we should and shouldn't lead our lives.

Well, mostly dramas that reflects my own religion. This type of drama usually teaches me the meaning of leading my life on the right path. And one of those great drama series is Nur Kasih!

So yeah, it gained an astonishing five million hits on its last episode in Malaysia. That's the size if the whole of Singapore were to watch! And now, they are making a movie out of it! A good move I must say! I've watched the trailer for the movie. Quite impressive!

Now, the only thing I'm hoping is that it will be played in Singapore's cinemas the same day as it will be played in Malaysia, which is on 19th May!

And oh...

Akan ku pegang pada janjimu... Cheyyy! HEHE!

So yeah, 19th May people! ;)

I've been feeling down these few days. My heart felt unease most of the time. There are many things that are running through my mind. Maybe God is testing me. Yes, we can only afford to plan, but He will make the decision for us. Maybe He has better plans for me in the future. I just need to wait and be patient. Things might not be the way I've planned for now. It's alright, I will keep planning and pray. I'm sure there are many things out there for me.

I hope one day my prayers will be granted. I will wait for it. As for now, aku redha... :')

Dreams III: Through The Seasons

So, Fusion Percussion was honoured to be one of TP's performing arts groups to perform for this year's Dreams concert. It was held in the school auditorium on 18th March. This year's theme was Through The Seasons. Meaning there were performances that reflects spring, winter and summer. Suprisingly, there was no autumn. =D

So the rehearsal and practices leading to this concert was a tired one. We've been practicing for almost half a year. Despite the challenges and changes we faced, we managed to break through the obstacles. For my side, I might not be that good but I've done my best in leading the group for this piece. Thanks FP!

So on the day of the concert, things were smooth. I was nervous of course. Everyone was. The audience applause was one of the loudest for us! The organisers especially our officer in charge was really pleased with our performance! So glad for that!

So yeah, WE DID IT GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you so much for guiding me through my difficult times leading the piece especially to my seniors and instructor, Roland! And of course, to my fellow mates! You guys are awesome!

Okay, I'm such a happy kid today because of:

#1 EXAM RESULTS
#2 EAGLES AWARD
#3 REST FROM DREAMS III CONCERT REHEARSALS

I am also quite unhappy because of:

#1 A LETTER FROM THE TUBERCULOSIS CONTROL UNIT
#2 BRUISES ON MY KNEES
#3 WHOLE BODY ACHING

So let me blog some of these things in details. Hehe!

EXAM RESULTS
So my exam results were released this morning at 11.30am. I was still fast asleep at that time till Daniel text me in the afternoon that made me woke up from my sleep and logged in to my student account using my iPhone (and oh, will talk more about my iPhone later in the post!).

So yeah, I wasn't expecting some good grades for some of my modules because this semester was one hell of a kind. I was praying and hoping that my GPA will either maintain or increase slightly. My prayers were answered. Thank god. :)

I managed to increase my GPA by 0.1 this semester from the previous semester. That makes it a GPA of 3.4. Yayness! But my overall GPA increased by 0.04 which makes it 3.37. Another words, I managed to maintain my overall GPA! Alhamdullilah...

So here are my results:

REST FROM DREAMS III CONCERT REHEARSALS
So I've been going back to school almost everyday this week for Dreams III Concert rehearsals and practices. So today is a rest day as tomoro is the big day for the concert! Need to rest and energise for FP performance!

So here we were backstage waiting for our turn during the full dress rehearsal on Wednesday...

I'm having bruises on both of my knees right now. A major body ache as well. But it's okay. Like they say... Pain is temporary. Glory is forever. Cheyyyyyy! =D

A LETTER FROM THE TUBERCULOSIS CONTROL UNIT
So apparently, someone in TP was diagnosed with Tuberculosis, or in short, TB. And I was told that I was recently in close contact with this person. MAJOR SIGH. Received a text from a friend about this. Have to travel all the way to Tan Tock Seng Hospital for the contact screening.

I'm just praying and hoping that nothing will happen to me and my friends... Amin...

Wanna know something??!!

SCHOOL IS CURRENTLY OVER!

Yes, currently. I'll be having a month and a half break till 25th April! I need a well deserved break after months of stressful projects and assignments. It's time to distress and focus on myself. Gonna spent this break properly and wisely. It's time for me to get my butt exercising. Yes, that's gonna be a start! Apart from that, work. Yes, it's time to earn some good cash! Lol.

So my last exam paper was last Wednesday. The CKTCS paper was alright. Quite manageable for me. Again, I'm just hoping for a good pass. I wanna maintain, or increase, my GPA for this semester. But I'm a little bit worried for that because...

THIS SEMESTER IS CHALLENGING!

Yeah, as compared to last semester, this semester is the toughest! I think because of the loads of projects that were given, surprisingly. I fell sick at some of point of time mainly because of stressing over my projects. Yes, it sucks. But thing for sure, all my projects are completed, although some are not up to my expectations. But it's okay. I've done my best! ;) And oh, a little blame on my side, gotta admit that I was kinda taking things easy this semester. Yes, abit slack! =D

Okay, so as soon my last paper ended, went for a mini "celebration" with my pals Alif and Zhi Peng at Seoul Garden to celebrate the end of our year 2 studies!

Surprisingly there were alot of TP students there. Bumped to a few friends. Basically it was everyone's last day of exams!

Spent the rest of the day doing my first project for the holidays! Nope, not a school project. But a renovating project! Yeah, just renovated my hamsters' home! Added a second storey to it because I thought that now there are seven of them and they all getting fatter everyday so they need some extra space. And yes, they are getting fatter. Of course, all they do everyday is eat, sleep, eat and sleep. HAHA! XD

Haha! Project succeeded! Can't believe that I went all the way to this acrylic factory to make a specifically measured acrylic sheet for the home. See how I love this hammies? HAHA! XD Well, I kinda like how it looks. I'm sure he does too...

Sorry for the lack of updates here! The thing is... THIS WEEK IS MY EXAM WEEK! So yeah, been busy mugging for my exams. So far things are moving smoothly though I gotta admit that my head can burst any time now! LOL! All projects are done and submitted! Major yay-ness or what?!! XD

By the way, I just took my first paper, which is PEDRIVE. It was tough. But it's quite manageable. My last paper is gonna be this Wednesday. Oh yeah, did I mention that I have only two exam-able papers to take for this semester? Yeah baby! ;)

So next paper is gonna be CKTCS. This module should be okay for me. Wish me luck yo! =D

A Celebration of Love...

This event was one week old. The HapyHadys Team decided to organise an exclusive birthday event for the idol and his fans this year because we give it a miss last year due to some circumstances. So, this year's theme was a special one as compare to previous themes. We called it A Celebration of Love... With Hady Mirza. It's an all-black theme where only the man himself wear red.

And oh! The event was held last Saturday, 12th February 2011, and it was held at...

Yes, it's Wanna'B! One of the coolest places on earth! ;) So here's my outfit for the day...

All-black it was! XD

We have the most good looking ticket ever followed by a L-O-V-E candle for each guest. And also Ferrero Rocher which comes with a reading light and a pen with HapyHadys name printed on it for the kids! Okay now, what's a great event for without a good buffet spread!

We had yummy egg mayo and crab on toast, sweet and sour fish, delicious nachos and many more! And oh! Not to mention the dessert and drink too!

I would like to shout out a kudos to Wanna'B for putting HM's face on the toothpick for the dessert without us requesting for it. How thoughtful of them! *winks*

Okay, these photos are so tempting to watch!! *mouth waters*

So everyone enjoyed themselves. Can see it from their faces. There were a few games played and most of all loads of interacting sessions!

Okay, this is the part when we present our so-called "platinum records" to the man himself for achieving #1 for Angkasa and #2 for Ku Tetap Kan Menunggu in the Ria Charts. Just something simple yet meaningful. Oh yeah, a shout out to Marina for designing this awesome artwork! Okay, then came the cake cutting and giving out of roses to all the ladies in the house...

What's my view of the event? Well, I'm glad to say that it was a major success! Despite the fact that we only had two weeks to plan and come out with ideas, we managed to break the boundaries. Glad that everyone enjoyed themselves as much as I enjoyed myself too!

I would like to thank my fellow team for our great effort in organising this event! I'm sorry that I didn't contribute much in the planning process due to school and work. But still, we did great! I would also like to thank Hady and management for taking the time to come down and gracing the joyous occasion! Wanna'B Cafe for the great service they provided and the wonderful location!

And lastly, to those who came and be part of the event, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Gosh, I'm like giving an award speech like that! XD

Hope that the support will last forever and keep supporting Hady Mirza in future events okay? *wink*

So as promised, more updates from me. I've just spent ten hours doing my school projects. It sucks big time when you thought that your project is coming to an end when suddenly something wrong pops up. Yes, my life is currently at stake here. No rest. All I can think right now is projects, projects and yeah, projects.

Okay, gonna stop bragging about that! So now I'm gonna share some photos of my CCA while we were practicing for our new piece earlier this week.

So we're currently practicing on this piece called Summer. I had quite a rough time trying to play the repenique at first. I'm so used playing the tamborim. But as time pass, my skills are improving. I'm still learning this thing and been practicing everywhere and any time I could spare. Even in class, at home and work. Yeah, practice makes perfect!

I just discovered a negative part of me. I have short term memory. Sometimes I tend to forget things easily. I've been trying to overcome this weakness of mine slowly. It's a must for me to overcome this especially when I'm leading this band for this piece. Must remember all the breaks, groove and timings. My STM could sometimes happened when I'm doing my school work too. Oh god, please help me!

So yeah, sorry guys if I always make you guys keep repeating doing the same thing over and over again because of my mistakes! Feel bad yo! Lets work together and make the rhythm happen!!!!

Feels like it will never end!

I never knew that this semester is one hell of a semester! Deadlines are just around the corner, so does exams. Tons of projects need to be completed and I have yet to open my books to revise for the coming exams. Luckily for this semester, I only have to take two exam modules! Unlike last year's five! Phewww!

So I think it's a win-win situation. I studied more but did lesser projects last semester and this semester there are more projects but lesser things to study for. So yeah, I'm cool with that. But still, I can feel the pressure of doing projects. Especially when there is little help from my lab teachers! They will always give reasons like, "You should know what to do" or even like, "I can't tell you much".

Yes, it's every student's nightmare if the teacher says like that. Believe me, I was this close to loosing my hair! =D But it's a good thing there are some lecturers and classmates that I can rely to. Thanks to them, I managed to do my projects with some ease!

Okay, that's enough of school talk. Seriously, I'm getting sick of talking about it.

I know that I've been neglecting this site of mine. And I always blame on school. Haiz, typical answer from a typical guy like me! I will try to blog more though. Blog more on what I've been doing in my life. Post more photos. Yeah, we shall see...

Retro Fever!

It's been exactly a week since the new year. So let me shout out a belated HAPPY NEW YEAR! Sorry for the late wish but still, it's better than nothing, right?

So anyways (Tijah's slang =p), before Christmas, my other CCA, PACEsetters, were having a year end gathering where the seniors, juniors, alumnis and staffs come together and have a chill time as the year comes to an end. It was on 23rd December 2010 and was held the staff lounge.

Nice ambiance, delicious food, great entertainment and great companies!

And oh, did I mention that the team was Broadway District - Retro Fever? HELL YEAH! Everyone was dressed at their best and the best part was, since Christmas was just two days away, there were gifts exchanged too!

So okay, since pictures speak a thousand words, so here it goes...

So yeah! Despite all those tedious planning we had months before, it was worth it! The event went well and everyone really enjoyed themselves! So yeah,

Glamourous 21

I was invited by Nuraini Jumat aka SV to her 21st birthday party held at Crowne Plaza Hotel. Yeap, the one at Changi Airport. Such a gorgeous place I must say! It was held on Saturday, 18th December. The theme was Hollywood - Black & Gold. So yeah, I'm sure you can imagine how glamorous we all were. Everyone was wearing black with a touch of glittery gold.

I was actually the only guy that was invited. HAHA! Imagine surrounded by glamorous looking ladies. Hehe... So there were games. It was fun and the food spread was yummy! Especially the strawberries dipped in chocolate and Kak Rinie's signature potato with cheese dish!

Thanks for the invite babe! I still remember your white themed birthday some years back! How time flies eh?

Had a so-called "farewell" dinner at Pizza Hut TM as Dee is leaving for holiday and Su is going back to Sri Lanka. It's been ages since I dine-in at Pizza Hut. Most of us have to take our term test the next day but heck, let's take a chill pill and chill-lax and free our minds from all those formulas, words and assignments! =D

Hey whats up peepz!

I'm blogging this entry using my iPhone. This is the first time I'm doing this and it's so cool to blog straight from your phone! So anyways, sorry for the lack of updates. I've been committing most of my time on school.

This week is the start of my term test. So as usual, mugging all the way! But I'm lucky that I have to only take 3 exam modules this semester. So my Pedrive paper settled. I'm just left with Cktcs and Ecap.

Ever since the failure of my first quiz for Pedrive, got to say that I really added alot of effort in it. Thank god my effort paid off! The paper was managable for me. I'm just aiming for a pass. An 'A' would be a bonus though! :))

So I'm left with 2 more papers. I can do it!! Jia you fikq! :D

So anyways, work has been going well for me. I'm now transfered over to the candy bar where I sell popcorns and other stuffs. First day was hard. But as the days go on, I'm getting the hang of it. I got one word to describe: Tired. Period. :D

So next week is the start of my 2-week break. But I have tons of projects to be completed before the next term starts! I have to attend 2 camps in school too! Poly life is really hectic man!

So yeah, gonna attend a friend's birthday party at Crowne Plaza Hotel this Saturday. Can't wait for it! ;D

'T' is for.... Test!

It's 1:36am and I'm still up studying for my Orgcom test later in the afternoon. I shouldn't be blogging now. But heck! XD

Term test is in 2 weeks time and that explains why I have so many test to take this week. I even took a week off from work just to catch up with my studies. But it's worth it despite the amount of moolah I wasted. Haha! Studies come first ya'know! =p So far I've taken 4 class tests. Gonna take a few more this coming days.

So yeah, this is poly life. =D

Hey there!

It's been quite a while since I updated this space of mine. While, life has been hectic for me. School loads are increasing. Apart from that, work life has been quite a challenge as well. I think I'm not gonna have time to make a proper blog entry like what I did before. So, I decided to do some changes to this site of mine to meet my hectic schedule!

So okay!

I added in a new feature to this site. It's TWITPIC!! Finally, I decided to use this thing! The blog entry section is now smaller because I won't be blogging that much. But don't worry, it will be updated properly/unproperly every now and then. =p Twitter is still here. Watch out for it cos this is where I do my updates most of the time! =)

Yeah, this new format is inspired by Youtube and Tweetdeck. Decided to combine this two and make something out of my own!

Updates from yours truly...

My first semester of school had just started. Everything is new. New classmates, new timetable, new course elective and only god knows what else is new for me. It was as if I've just entered TP but I'm not. Again, I have to adapt to this new environment, especially with the new classmates. Seems like they all know each other already. Maybe this is the disadvantage of going to direct second year. Oh wells. Shall see how it goes...

So Daniel is actually in the same elective as me but we both have different timetables. This sucks big time because he was the only companion I had since day one TP. We were expecting to be in the same class. But now we're separated and he feels the same way as I feel. But like what others might say, it takes some time though. =) Again, we shall see how it goes...

So yeah, let's look on the bright side. Heh.

I've finally secured myself a part-time job at Golden Village. Thanks to Atiqah who recommended me this job. It's my very first job and I like it partly because of my colleagues. They're nice people you see. And of course, my job scope, which I'm currently assigned to floor, easiest among the three stations. =D

I've got Music for my Cross Disciplinary Subject (CDS)! I'm so excited for it and classes will begin this Wednesday! I know a few friend of mine who is taking the same CDS as me. Now the question is, are they in the same lecture/tutorial group as me? Well, hopefully! =D

I'm happy to say that my timetable for this semester is the best! Not so many hassle. Just nice for me. My classes starts in the afternoon for Mondays to Wednesdays. Classes end early too except for Wednesdays. But I'm not complaining because I'm studying music and I'll be having my percussion practices the whole day! So Wednesdays are like 'music-all-day-long' days. Yeahhhh! =DD

So yeah, that's that!

Now, on a slightly sad note, I've just lost another friend. I've known her for just 4 years, ever since the rise of the name, Hady Mirza. She is known as a quite lady but it's easy to talk with. I love talking to her because she speak with, like what the Malays would say, 'beralas'... And I also know that she is a very loving sister towards her siblings.

I last met her at Kak Rinie's hari raya open house. Talked to her a little and that was the last time I hear her voice and met her face-to-face. Well, Allah loves her more. =(

Yeah, life is just temporary in this world. HE has the power to take one's live because they are loved by HIM. Now, the only thing we can do in this world is to pray for them and move on. =)

Attempt #2: Kite flying, AGAIN!

It's kite flying time again!

I don't know why I have this urge of trying kite flying. Maybe because many people are doing it now? Hmmm... Yeah. But this time it was truly a success! Ours was the highest!

So yeah, went with these wonderful people...

And for your info, before you guys made any wild assumptions, the girl beside me is NOT my girlfriend. What the hell guys??? HAHA! We just happened to wear the same colour shirt, for the second time. (-_-")

Well, the weather was perfect! It was a hot day but the wind was even hotter! HAHA! XD Yes, I know, LAME. =D We had our kite flying at this open field near Tampines library. Quite a number of people were there to fly kites. Awesome view I must say.

After a few attempts, we decided to fly the kite even higher. Eventually, it went higher than anyone else's kite!! So, ours was the highest! Get it? XD

So, as the kite went higher, the force to control the kite is getting heavier. So eventually, the guys came up with a 'genius' idea. They decided to use my weight to hold the kite properly...

So, while looking at our kite flying at its glorious peak, decided to chill while munching on snacks. Then we saw this little boy who was having difficulties trying to fly his kite. So, with our PACEsetters spirit, we decided to give a helping hand!

I'm gonna thank Nysa for giving me these hamsters. She has plenty of these cuties at her place!

So I decided to keep them in a fish tank instead of a cage cos I think it gives me a much more clearer view of the hamsters without the blockage of the cage's wires. And easy for me to play around with them too!

A day at the airport...

Indra In The Lion City

Well, the F1 season has just ended in Singapore. People from around the world came down to Singapore to catch the night race and of course the F1 concert that features celebrities from Hollywood such as Adam Lambert, Mariah Carey and more. I'm sure at this point you must be wondering what the heck are all these got to do with the title, "A day at the airport...". Haha!

So let's get to the point...

A friend of mine from Jakarta came down to Singapore just to catch the ~~race~~ Mariah Carey concert. It was his first time in Singapore and also the first time I meet him face-to-face! So we welcomed him at the airport.

Haha okay this is fake. The above picture wasn't me waiting for Indra. It was actually part of the mini 'photoshoot' that I had with Marina and SV. Will get more to that later in the post aite?

So am I happy with my results? Let me just say: Yes. =D

Like I mentioned before, I'm not setting any high expectations for my VERY FIRST MAIN EXAM in poly. Despite the fact that I'm a direct second year entry student, I must work extra hard and at least grab some well-deserved grades to proceed to the next semester. But thank to god, I managed to score some good grades. =p

So yeah, that's my grade for this semester! Proud of myself! *pat my own back* Got to admit that ICAP is not my cup of tea. That's explain the C grade. But hey, I've tried my best and managed to pass it! But I'm quite surprised with MCT. A distintion for a module that I hate the most at first? Haha... Well, like most people say,"Something you hate might bring you something good in return". Well, I made that up actually! HAHA! XD

Well, I think I'm gonna start a new study tactic next sem to improve my GPA especially. I read this book (which was a birthday gift from SV!) by George Tan on how to study smart. And yeah, will apply it once new sem starts! And btw, school will be opened on the 25th OCTOBER! Like OH. MY. GOD. That's a long break! What should I do... Find a part-time job maybe? Yeah.

A day at the beach...

Hey wassup! ;)

Had a simple yet fabulous outing with this crazy bunch of people last Monday. Decided to go to Pasir Ris beach for day of fun-filled madness with my Fusion Percussion peepz. Heh. I was so keen on trying to fly a kite. I was attending my cousin's raya open house on the weekend and happily sneaked out to buy a kite at Tampines Mart. Heh. Thanks Dee for telling me the place to get one! *winks*

Other than kites, we played soccer, cycling (oh yeah!), picnic-ing and other random things. We even played at the playground like small kids. Everyone around us was looking at us thinking we are some retarded people! =D Oh wells, we are young at heart and we are still young! Haha!

Bought lunch at McDonalds and Popeyes and had them at the beach. We seriously went on a good day. Nice weather, cloudy and windy (sometimes!).

After lunch, we began the activities! We start off with the kites. I bought this kite with an eagle design. It was okay at first but it went haywire later. Sigh. -____-"

So how's raya so far for you? Mine was simple but joyous. It's also my most tiring raya ever. Was having sleepless nights for the past few weeks due to exams and of course, the preparations for the big day. Then comes raya eve where I usually dont sleep till pagi raya. Helped my mum cooking the raya dishes, beautifying the living room, cleaned my room, cleaned the kitchen and many other last minute preparations. After all that, went to mosque for the usual raya prayers early in the morning. Yeah, penat dok!

So this is my humble adobe...

Very girlish to me.. haha... But simple and nice... =D

And talking about exams, mine is OFFICIALLY OVER! I'm having my well-deserve break now. It's a one-month break I think. Or is it three weeks? Okay, I ain't too sure. Heh!

I think this year's outfits were the best for me as compare from previous years. I have two outfits this year. A black outfit and a lime green outfit. Yeah, my most favourite colour combination! Woohooo!

Aren't they nice or what!! The green one is for day one raya. And both outfits have my signature 'T' brooch! Blink-blink! Read on this post to see me wearing these outifits, aite!

Raya Sneak Peek!

Hey!

Well, hari raya is approaching reaalllyyy soon. It's like two days away. I'm sure everyone is busy preparing for raya. Making delicacies, spring cleaning the house and, like me, studying! Yeah, I have to mug for my exams this year while in the midst of preparing for raya. So far I've taken two sets of papers, engineering maths and netfund. So now I'm just left with three more papers, two of them before raya and the last one next week. So you see, this year I'm kinda packed up with exams and raya. The result of balancing these two things: I was down with fever. But I'm okay now. Yay!

So anyways, I'm gonna share my raya preparations. From kuihs to cakes to my outfit and many more! So yeah, it's pictures time!

First up! The must-have raya delicacies...

A few changes to the table this year. We have cookies, kuih makmur (which we didn't make last year, I think), coco crunch and loads more! We also have the usual kak lapis, kuih tart and more! There are also the all-time favourites such as rendang, ayam masak merah, lontong, ketupat, sambal goreng pengantin and many more! But of course, it will only be cook the day before raya so you gotta wait for the pix on my raya post! hehe...

So next up, beautifying the house!

Nope, not dead yet!

I've not been blogging much lately. Been busy mugging for my exams, which will start next week. O.M.G, it's next week you heard that?! Well, I'm not gonna set high expectations for it. I decided to do my very best and not to stress myself with getting good grades cos I know it will just make me more stress. But of course, I'm still studying hard just like my previous exams.

And oh, I know we are almost coming to the end of the holy month of Ramadhan. But nevertheless, Happy Fasting to all my fellow Muslims. It's the time to reflect ourselves and 'upgrade' ourselves to make us a better person.

Got to admit that this year's Ramadhan is quite a challenging yet memorable one for me.

Firstly, my exams are held during the fasting month. People say you need the energy to study properly. But Alhamdullilah, I managed to break the boundaries of not having to eat or drink.

Secondly, I'm happy cos it's the first time I'm having iftar with my poly mates and, of course, my close friends. Well, just to name the few. The rest are just the way I want it to be.

Well, going shopping this week for my raya outfits. IT'S OFFICIAL! This year's baju raya for my family shall be LIME GREEN! My favourite colour of all times. Gonna wear a black kain pelekat to match the outfit and maybe a white leather shoe to go with it. Yeah, Peninsula, here I come!

Okay, lets move on to preparations for raya. So far, we've bought curtains, new flowers, painted the house pink (-_-"), my mom has started to bake kuehs, had spring cleaned my room and what not. So we're just left with a few minor details here and there and hopefully by the afternoon of the eve of raya, everything has settled!

Believe me, for the past few eve of rayas, I didnt sleep at all cos we spent the entire night till dawn to clean the kitchen, where most of the major messes were. And oh, a new sofa will be coming in this week! So yeah, next week shall begin to beautify the house! And maybe, I will share photos of the process of beautifying my crib.

So okay, that's that for raya.

This week is all about going back to school for extra revision lectures. Will be coming back to school almost everyday till Friday. And next week is the start of main exams. Pray for me okie? Hehe...

It's coming towards the end of my school semester. So there are like plenty of things I have to do and finish before I say goodbye to the semester. Sorry for not updating this blog for quite awhile now. Just 2 more weeks and sayonara!

Thanks to YOG, I have a month break. A study break actually. Well, at least it's a break! After that, main exam for another week and then 3 more weeks of holiday. So two months of so-called break? Well, yeah.

I'll be back with a proper entry after all of these has ended okie?

It's been awhile since I keep in touch with my secondary school life. The video below is a performance by Ping Yi's Military Band. Came across this while I was Youtube-ing. The last time I went to see the band display was in 2008 at the National Stadium.

This was actually their performance this year. It was held at the indoor stadium. Heard from a friend that the reason it was being held there is so that the judges could hear how good the instruments are played or something. I dunno. Maybe. Maybe not. =D

What a week!

This week has been quite a good one for me. Firstly, my elective module for next semester. YES! I got into the elective that I want, which is Robotics. Secondly, I am officially one of TP's PACEsetters!

I'm not too sure what I'm going to study in Robotics but I hope the photo above is somehow related to it. Heard from my friends that it requires loads of knowledge on programming, which I think I'm only half way there. Yeah. But anyways, I'm happy with it! I have the passion in it. So yeah.

Well, I still remember I joined Robotics Club during my primary school days. It was fun though. Joined this robotics competition at Science Center, attended a robotics soccer match at Singapore Poly and of course, assembling the different parts of the robots with Lego pieces and many more. Yeah, hell loads of fun! Gosh, I can still remember all these! Haha!

Then comes ITE. I was chosen by a lecturer of mine to join this CCA called the Micromouse Club, which is kinda exclusive because only a few people can join it. But eventually the club "closed down" when I was half way through the process of learning its logarithms and whats not.

So what I hope now is that this elective I chosen is my right choice. Hope to make more new friends and most importantly, I have the interest and have fun!

See that outfit above? Yeah, that's gonna be my dress code for most of the events that my CCA will organise. PACEsetters is my second CCA after Fusion Percussion. So these two CCAs are like two different world. One is purely fun and groovy while the other is all about professionalism, etiqutte and sophistication.

PACEsetters is the official ambassador for Temasek Poly. We welcome special guest from outside and uphold the school image so that they will leave a good impression of the school. Went for a prepartory course where they taught us the proper etiqutte to walk, going down the stairs, proper glooming and lots more. We were also given infos of the school such as how many lecture theatres are there in TP, the land size of TP, name of principal and directors of TP, number of courses TP offers and many more.

These are just a few I named from the list. There's loads of info and I must make sure that I know some of them. =D So there were actually two types of interview. The first was with the committee and second was with the management.

I SCREW BIG TIME!

The committee interview was okay. But the management interview was my worst. I totally screw it up and I was totally sure I'm not gonna be in the CCA. But out of no where, they chose me to be one of them. A total shock for me. Well, part one settled. The journey has just begun for me, I guess.

So okay, that's a lil' update from me for now.

I only know him for a few months. He's a friendly and humble person. Always like to share his interesting stories and jokes with us. Never fails to cheer me up. I can't believe that our friendship was such a short one. Last met him during HH gathering and still could not believe that was the last time I ever see him again.

I managed to listen to him sing a verse of a song. A soothing and nice voice he has and a vibrant personality too! God loves him more and may his soul rest in peace.

It's been a week since you left us. I'm gonna miss you bro.

FP CAMP!

Fusion Percussion camp was like 2 weeks ago and I decided to blog about it now. Cantek! =|

Well, sorry for neglecting you for quite awhile dearest blog. So okay, The camp was on 19th and 20th June. We had hell loads of fun. We were grooving to our percussion rhythm, making instruments using recycle materials (we are a green cca, heh!), watched movie and video performances on Youtube, telling ghost stories, went for a night walk, something spooky happened at our sleeping area and yeah, splashing water! Urrghh... =D

Well, this was actually a last minute thingy and I decided to drag my friend Eugene along as he has been asking me when are we going to visit the new ITE College West at Choa Chu Kang. Well, I'm from College Central but heck! Still ITE! =DDD

So yeah, last Friday was so-called the grand opening of the new ITE mega college (whatever they called it). It is the second one after the one at Simei. Went there to meet our dearest Mdm Bok and visit her students' booth. My Tricky Table Tennis game was there too! =D

So term test is in 2 weeks time. So how stable am I with all the modules I'm taking currently you ask me? Well, semi-stable! Crap. So yeah. But on a brighter side, term break is coming! Yeah! And oh, did I say that I'm shortlisted for PACEsetters? I have 2 CCAs now! Both of them are totally from 2 different worlds.

PACEsetters is like a serious CCA. So when big shots come to TP, I have to dress up in blazers with shiny black shoes with neat hair and make them leave a good impression on TP. We have to organise school events or functions. So another words, an ambassador of TP.

My second CCA is Fusion Percussion! It's all about the rhythm and having fun! So far the practices were really great. Oh yeah, I played the snare drum by the way. Gerek!!!

So my coming holidays are all about school. Have to attend a glooming ettiqutte workshop for PACEsetters, FP practices, FP 2-day camp and make-up lesson for NETFUND!

So as for now, it's mugging time! =|

I FINALLY GRADUATED FROM ITE!!!

Yeah, two years seems to be very fast! I still remember the day when I stepped myself into this school. Blur sotong, unsure of my future and blah blah blah. And look at me today! I am proud to say that I'm from ITE! Gosh, I'm gonna miss this life man!

Sorry for not updating this place! Has been a hectic week for me. Being a freshman is never easy you know! Well, went for a 3-day orientation at TP. It was fun. A bit tiring (especially the first day, gosh!) but overall it was an enjoyable experience. Maybe because I have never attended such orientation. The mentors were really helpful and friendly. You guys rock on!

As some of you might know, I went straight to the second year in TP. I skip the first year. Yeah, you might be thinking that jumping to the second year means it's a good thing. Yeah, it sounded great isn't it? But hell no! My friends, who are also direct second year students, and I were like struggling with the modules we're currently taking, especially Maths. Well, maybe I'm still a freshman. Still a blur sotong. Haha!

Well, let's get back to the orientation. I was actually assigned to the first year class during the orientation. So I got to know some of them. Only got to hang around with them for that 3 days and after that, I had to join in with the rest of the 2nd year students. Yeah, kinda awkward cos they already know each other while I'm still a freshman.

So yeah, have to adapt to new culture, new environment, make new friends and probably this will take a few weeks? Nvm, He has something plan for me. Just need to be patient and pray for the best.

Thursday is karaoke day with the mats from ITE. Heh.

After a much-anticipated wait, finally I bought it! My very own iPhone. Bought the 16GB iPhone as a way of rewarding myself for getting into the course I want in Temasek Poly. I think this is the best phone I ever owned! It is so addictive especially the cool applications!

These few weeks are gonna be a hell one for me as I have to prepare for my poly life, orientations and many other stuffs! So yeah, I'll try to blog a proper entry once in awhile.

I attended the Anugerahitz.sg event last Saturday at Mediacorp theartre. The event is a first collaborative effort involving MediaCorp Suria, MediaCorp Warna 94.2FM and Ria 89.7FM, as well as Composers and Authors Society of Singapore (COMPASS) to honour the best in the local Malay music industry.

What can I say about the event. It was great. Rock Nation was the theme of the night. So yeah, many people wore black. The performance line-up was awesome. The hosts of the night was Fauzie Laily and Fiza O. They entered the theatre on Harley Davidson bikes which was kinda cool.

There were afew performances that impressed me. One of them is a performance by Nana. Her voice is like a diva. I didn't know she has this powerful voice for a small person. Then comes the duet from, also, Nana and Eiss when they sang the songs for the Most Popular Song (Lagu Paling Popular) category. Good chemistry from the two of them and they sang the medley of the songs soulfully and nice. The duet from Taufik Batisah and Hady Mirza was awesome indeed when they sang Kepadanya. These are just a few good performance.

So yeah, the craziest bunch of people were there to support our idol. Alhamdullillah, Hady clinched 3 awards. To be precised, 2 and the half. Heh. But it's good though! Especially the Best Song category! That's an achievement!

So we decided to be at Mediacorp wayyy early to have good seats (which was okay lah) and have a mini picnic session. Hah! So there were pizza, muffins, gado-gado, titbits and what nots lah... As always, the crazy people! Heh! =DDD

So after 2 years of working hard in ITE, the sweat, the tedious projects and many more words that comes after that, finally it paid off. I was posted to my first choice, a 2-year course in Electronics at Temasek Polytechnic. =)

So now I hope and pray that my life in poly shall be as great as my life in ITE. Amin...

So my cute lil' niece turned 4 last Friday. My mom and I decided to get her a present. We bought her 3 dresses cos she looks really cute wearing a dress. Especially the Barney ones cos she loves Barney.

Here she is now at age 4. Ain't she cute? Awww. I asked her to pose with her present. She is such a photogenic girl! She likes to take photos. Just look at those cheeks! =D

I decided to make a photo collage when she was 3 months old, 1 year old, 2 years old, 3 years old and 4 years old.

Tips: Blogger Pages

I was blog hopping at some blogs and I notice one common thing among these blogs, especially those blogs which are using the navigation system, such as mine, that link us to a specific page such as the HOME page, the ABOUT page, the LINKS page and what nots.

Some bloggers, especially those using Blogger.com, uses the New Post function (the one that we usually use to compose our blog entries) to create these pages. There are 2 disadvantage if we do it this way:

1) You can see the date and time created or even the comment link in the post body footer. Well, if you don't get what I mean, let me show you an example (look at the red circle):

2) The URL of the specific page shows the date and month. Like this:

I'm sure these things are not that pleased to look at right?

I think most people do not know is that there is a function in Blogger which allows you to create a page for your blog, without showing the above disadvantages. So here's how:

Step 1
Log in to your blogger account. Click on Posting and click Edit Pages:

Step 2
To create a page, click NEW PAGE:

You can create up to 10 pages! From there on, you can create a page for your blog! Isn't that simple? The steps to create these pages is the same as composing a new blog entry.

Step 3
After you have save your pages, this is what you will see:

You can edit or delete or view your pages!

Advantages of using pages:

1) The date and time created or even the comment link in the post body footer will NOT BE SHOWN:

2) The URL WILL NOT SHOW the month and year but it shows a 'p'. At least this is much better:

Earth Hour + 5 tips to save energy!

So it's Earth Hour Day tonight. Which means we need to save energy by switching off those unnecessary electrical appliances that we are not using such us lights, aircon and what nots. Even though Earth Hour takes just an hour and like only once a year, why not we take the effort to save electricity in our daily lives instead?

Yeah, we know some people cannot tahan the heat if the aircon is off or some people might think that it doesn't make much different if they off, let say, a room light or many other reasons that they can came up with. But hey, stop that perception! It does make a difference!

Okay, actually I want to share some photos that I extracted online. The before and after results of Earth Hour from all over the world. These shots were taken in last year's Earth Hour, I think. The picture above is the before and bottom is the after.

So yeah, here are some tips to save electriciy:
1) Use fan instead of aircon. Don't be spoilt! Heh.
2) Turn off your lights if you're not using. Even if you are watching TV in a room, you can also turn off the lights. Better still, turn off your TV if you're not watching!
3) Save water! How? By simply don't waste water! =D
4) Don't spent most of your time on the computer. Good for your eyes also!
5) Off your electronic appliances such as dvd player, blu-ray player and others. Notice the red LED light when your dvd player is off? Current still flow!

Yeah, that's my tips lah.

New feature!

Well, this is the new feature in my blog. I called it Picture Tweeting. The purpose of me setting up this feature is to share my interesting photos that I don't share in my blog entries, maybe because there's nothing much for me to blog about and the picture will speak for itself in a thousand words. The other reason is for me to give a glimpse of what's gonna be in my next post.

So yeah, keep a look out for it cos I will update it every now and then!

Prom Graduation Nite!

Okay, first of all, I have never had any prom nites during my primary and secondary school days. Does primary schools have prom anyway? =| So yeah, I've always wanted to experience how it feels like to attend this special occassions. So finally, I had my prom. A simple yet classy dinner nite with friends and lecturers.

We had our prom at Furama Riverfront Hotel.

At Kantamani Indonesian Restaurant to be precised. The photos above are extracted from google. I totally forgot to snap these photos!

So here I am...

Upon reaching the restaurant, met these two people...

Matthias and Elyn. They are the 'receptionist'. They take attendance. Haha! Okay, they are actually the organisers. There's also a lucky draw but I didn't stay for it.

Camwhoring bunch of people! We snap this inside the lift. Gosh, there are mirrors everywhere lah! Okay, it's been a long time since I used this word camwhoring. I know it sounds wrong but there's no other word I can use. So just pretend it's a good word. Heh!

So finally, we can dig in! Okay, sorry for giving small plates! Haha! But hey, Im being nice okay! =p

And now, my dessert. Rice pudding, kueh dadah, goreng pisang coated with chocolate syrup (yesss!!) and a four-flovour ice cream plus chocolate syrup and chocolate rice! Sounds sinful enough? My sweet tooth was indulging all the way! But the rice pudding not that nice.

Inspired by Iphone, I came up with this design which has a cutting edge to it! It is sleek, simple and it looks 3D doesnt it? Now, I said that this design was inspired by the popular Iphone. So which part you ask me? It's the 'casing'.

But of course, it's not entirely exactly like the Iphone. I add in some creativity to it and the results just makes me proud to be a blog designer. LOL! Okay, I'm just being crap here!

I've been designing alot of blog designs. I really really can't stick to one design for a long period! Haiz. Hope this one shall last long enough!

So anyway, today's my Prom Nite! Yay-nesss! Hope the food is great! Heh.

Kak Nora's Engagement

Finally, tunang jugak kakak aku sorang ni... Hehe, jangan marah ah!

So the date was 14th March 2010. I was invited by Kak Nora to her engagement ceremony. HadFiks wasn't in full force on that day. One is busy, the other is heavily pregnant and the other one is sick (nevermind guys, photo scam below! =D). So me, sis Zari and her boyfriend attended. We had a great time. It's time to say goodbye, I think

I took my first, and probably my last, paper last Monday. Which means I have only 1 paper to take. *grins*

The CPS paper was kinda okay. I'm not saying that it is very difficult nor it is very easy. The difficulty level of the paper is average, for me. It's in between difficult and easy. Now, what I am trying to say is that the paper was okay. Managed to do most of the questions but I did forget some of the answers to some of the questions. So what I'm hoping now is that I manage to get a good grade for this paper, and also the other modules I took this semester. Another 4 would be good. *smiles*

So after the paper, it marks my so-called last day in ITE. Exams are over, which means everything has ended for me. So I am happy to say that my life in this fine institution has ended, unofficially. The reason it is unofficial because I have not get my hands on my higher nitec cert yet. But still, I can feel that I have officially graduated from ITE. Cepat kan waktu berlalu?

You know, it's kinda sad to leave this school. It has taught me alot of things since I step myself and leaving the place after 2 years, well, you know the feeling. *sob sob* It has totally change my character. From being a quite and low self-esteem person back in secondary school era to a person who is much more confident and being a good socialiser (got such word or not?). I have made many new friends. Good friends, friends who I can bully (haha, just kidding) and friends who I can really rely to.

So I think it's true. ITE do make you shine. I appreciate and thankful for all the opportunities that were given to me. Get to experience all the opportunities is really precious. And not to forget the friendly lecturers. They are just great!

But it's time to move on. I've applied for poly some time ago. I chose Electronics at TP as my first choice. I hope I got to enrol myself into one of the polys. So yeah, I shall wait and see what's the future ahead for me this coming 1st April. Hope it will not fool me, hehe.

So now, I'm having my holidays. Only god knows how long my holidays gonna be. More than a month perhaps? It's time for me to take this opportunity to focus on myself. Exercising and maybe a part time job would be great! I'm going to relax and pamper myself with all the freedom I have currently. Maybe a mini makeover? Heh!

The show that impress me

You know what? Mediacorp does produce some really good dramas after all. I'm not an avid follower of Channel 5 dramas. But there is this one show that I always look forward for especially what is going to happen in the next episode. And that show is The Pupil.

Ever since the premiere of the first episode, I was really impressed. Impress with what you ask me? It's the entire show lah! Love the concept. The camera works are great. The scripts are really really good. The show don't look so fake, especially! The sets they acted in are genuine, not the studio acting type. The actors and actresses in this show are good with the roles they take.

So this show reminds me of one Hollywood show. Boston Legal. But this is the Singapore's version and they nailed it. It's purely Singaporean and no copycats from the US or something. The stories reflects on the things happening or has happened in Singapore. From National Service, to scandals, education system, angry daughter defending her hawker mum from a rich aunty and many more!

I didn't even miss an episode so far! So, for those of you who have not watch the drama, do watch it soon! I think the show is halfway through the series. So you can still watch and understand it.

It airs every Thursday, 8.30pm.

The egg tart that makes me go crazy

So I've been blog-hopping for the past few weeks and I came across a few blogs that rant about how delicious KFC egg tarts are. So, my taste buds are shouting and craving for some of those egg tarts. I literally travelled all the way to Parkway Parade's KFC just to tapao some egg tarts.

I must say it's the most yummilicious egg tart I ever tasted! Usually I bought those cookie-like texture egg tarts with not-so-creamy filling. But the KFC egg tart is totally the opposite. It has this crispy pastry on the outside and a creamy texture for the filling. That's the reason I went gaga for awhile. Heh.

It is even more delicious if served straight from the counter! Well, ain't sure if it is in the menu for a limited time only as I got a feeling that the egg tarts are sold during the Chinese New Year period. But I really hope it will stay permanently on the menu!

So yeah, these egg tarts are sold at $1.30 each or $7.50 for 6. If you think it's expensive, to me, it's worth the money. Sekali-sekale boleh lah...

I attended the recording of Hitz.sg yesterday at Mediacorp. This show will lead to the Anugerahitz event which will be held on 3rd April 2010 on Suria. The nominees of the event performed at their best in Hitz.sg. Some of the artistes that performed were Hady Mirza, Taufik Batisah, Rancour, Sound Salvation, Imran Ajmain and many more.

So, as usual, I was there to support Hady. The recording started at 9pm. Lambat kan kan kan?

Hey there! So how's everyone been? Great?

MONDAY, 22ND FEB 2010
So our class had our bonding day. The last time we had a class bonding was in September last year I think. Well, that time, we had lunch at Seoul Garden. But this time we had it in class. So we ordered 12 boxes of pizzahut...

... and I just can't wait to get my hands and mouth on them! =p

Everyone enjoyed the pizza. Only god knows how full we were. Pizza hut for lunch and later in the afternoon, a buffet reception for my CCA handover ceremony. So it's like a food carnival day for me like that.

I had such an impromptu plan on this day. One of my lecturers offer me a free ticket to ride the Singapore Flyer. I was excited, of course. So I literally gave my afternoon lesson a miss just to grab this so-called once-in-a-lifetime free ride. (Padahal keje skola seme dah bis! Datang skola setakat lepak2 je.)

I must admit this: I HATE TOURS THAT HAS TOUR GUIDES!

We actually wasted 30 minutes listening to stuffs that we all already know. Well, maybe it's just me. The day was hot so I was kinda restless to listen to long stories. But anyways, I wasn't the only one who felt this way.

I am still awaiting for the photos from Mr Photographer. But it seems like he forgot to upload them. Bluek! So anyways, here are my shots...

Nope, it's not that the windows are not well-clean. It's been quite hazzy these days. Probably because of the sunny season and the burning of forest in neighbouring countries.

So yeah, I enjoyed my day.

So yesterday I passed on my cca leadership to the next badge. Alhamdulillah, I'm free from all those plannings, late nights (sounds like I go clubbing like that. =p), running around the school finding members and more. So now, I'm exactly 2 weeks away from my exams. After that, I'm saying goodbye ITE. Can't believe it's been that fast, huh?

Also, yesterday was the deadline for my final year project. Like FINALLY, no more projects for me. I'm now officially free from school work! BUT..... I have still 1 more thing to do. MUGGING for the exams.

Again yesterday, also, was my class bonding day. Waiting for the photos from Mr Photographer, who complained that his facebook cannot upload photos. Yeah, I'll shall wait patiently and then I will post it here! =D

So it seem like 22nd February is my most happiest day? Heehee... Well, sort of...
